Our goal for 2021 is to make some significant changes in our business. After focusing on certain session types over the past years, we’re ready to explore new challenges and switch things up a bit. No worries, we’ll keep doing what we do best and provide you with stunning artwork of and for your family.
The first change we’re going to introduce is our new Baby Boutique. The ArtCafe Baby Boutique is our version of a baby’s first year or watch me grow plan. Included are the newborn session, the sitting up session at 6-8 months, and the first birthday session during baby’s birthday month. You might think that that’s exactly what we have always offered, and you’re correct! So what’s the change? Starting in February, we will photograph newborn and first birthday cake smash sessions only as part of our Baby Boutique. Does that mean that I can’t just book a newborn session? Yes, and let me explain why we’re going to make that change.
We receive a large number of inquiries for newborn sessions after the baby has already arrived. As a low volume boutique studio, we have to turn away the majority of these families since we are booked months in advance. We start working very closely with our clients well in advance of the sessions to create the perfect experience and customized products. It’s impossible to live up to that standard when there is no time to get to know each other. Your happiness is our first priority, and we just can’t guarantee that in a rushed setting.
The second reason for this change is that families who contact us early in their pregnancy almost always decide to join our Baby Boutique. We start out with a beautiful maternity session and get you on the calendar for the three sessions during baby’s first year. All four sessions will be styled similarly to make your print products stunning masterpieces.
Another advantage of our Baby Boutique membership are the savings and special product options that are not available if sessions are booked separately.
So, what are my options to join?

Option 2 – $3900
Baby Boutique (newborn, sitting up, and 1st birthday sessions) membership & Portfolio Box of your choice with 30 matted fine art prints from the 3 sessions
Your membership includes the following:

Design Consultation before each session

Professional hair and makeup for one at our studio
4 Photography Sessions for Option 1 and 3 Sessions for Option 2

Time, Talent, and Production
Portrait Presentation after each session at our studio
Portfolio Box of your choice with 30 matted fine art prints (7-10 from each session)
Digital files of all purchased images included on a USB in your box
The option of adding on additional products like wall portraits
Once you decide to join our Baby Boutique, we’ll collect a 50% downpayment of your membership fee to secure your sessions on our calendar. A payment plan for the remaining two installments of 25% each will be discussed and set up. You will receive your Portfolio Box and the first set of matted fine art prints after your first session (maternity or newborn). 7 – 10 prints will be added to your box after each session. At the end of your Baby Boutique membership, you’ll have a one of a kind display option – a stunning Portfolio Box, 30 matted fine art prints, and the USB with your digital files – all in one place.
We are also planning to make access to our Baby Registry easier by adding an online store to our website. That way, family members, friends, or coworkers will have the option to directly purchase gift certificates at any time through our website instead of contacting us first.
